TRAWLER YACHT 585

A 35' centerboard cruising boat designed for long-distance cruising and living aboard. Simplicity’s raised deck and 11’ beam result in a spacious interior, with standing headroom throughout. Construction is plywood over plywood bulkheads and frames.

The T*Boat is a Wood / Plywood / Resin structure. The T* comes in 2 Versions. The T*5 is a one person version and the “Coming Soon” T*Six is a 2 person version. The T*5 can be built from scratch using our Drawing and Instruction Package. Or it can be built using the T*5 Kit.

Athelas is a 17'-2" open water recreational rower for one or two based on a lines sketch by N. G. Herreshoff. Built from 6 and 9 mm glued lapstrake plywood, she weighs 81 pounds and can be cartopped

“Mouse Grande” is the last of the mouse family. As the name implies she is the biggest with most internal volume. Large cockpit with two small flotation chambers/storage compartments at both ends. Preference was given to stability. Anglers can stand up and cast.

An outboard skiff with a wide bottom and moderate rocker that contribute to stability and the ability to carry weight back aft.
Construction: Cross-planked bottom, lapstrake sides

Alternative construction: Plywood or glued-lapstrake plywood

Lofting is required

An extremely light weight canoe of good carrying capacity, it is very steady and easy to portage through the brush.

25′ LOA carvel-planked daysailer with small cabin. Construction: Carvel planked over steamed frames. Alternative construction: Cold-molded or strip. Lofting is required. Plans include 4 sheets.

Glued-lap plywood rowing or sailing tender with plenty of capacity. Construction: Glued lapstrake plywood. No lofting required. Plans include 5 sheets.
