October 8th, 1977, twenty-four “21 feet sailing boats” single handed left Penzance (United Kingdom) for Antigua with a stopover in Tenerife.The smallest offshore racing boats were born and so was favourite race: the Mini Transat.

Athey is a 15' open water recreational rower for one or two based on a lines sketch by N. G. Herreshoff. Built from 4, 6 and 9mm glued lapstrake plywood, she weighs just 65 pounds and is cartopped.

Austral’s design is an outgrowth of my 26' Wynfall design, intended to provide additional space below decks, including standing headroom. She is slightly heavier, longer and wider, and has more freeboard than her smaller sister.

The Rice Lake Skiff is sure to be a very useful boat at the cottage for fishing, rowing or just knocking about.

The 18ft STRIKE is a sailing trimaran design that uses a 16ft beach cat as the outriggers/amas and rig. The main hull is plywood and has a dory shape that is extremely easy to build.

The Sapphire 27 is developed from our very successful Design No. 056, to give a more traditional cruising oriented layout both down below and on deck.
