Offshore cruising catamaran

Athey is a 15' open water recreational rower for one or two based on a lines sketch by N. G. Herreshoff. Built from 4, 6 and 9mm glued lapstrake plywood, she weighs just 65 pounds and is cartopped.

Traditional "Whitehall" elegance in a stitch-and-glue kit. For casual single and tandem rowing, we do not believe there is a better build-your-own-boat kit than the Chester Yawl.

The TX18 is an inverted vee boat, Hickman sled type designed for fishing the flats along the Gulf of Mexico or anywhere a shallow draft boat must go long distance in choppy seas.

GT stands for Grand Touring and that is just what this kayak delivers.

A stable (28 1/2″ beam) strip-built touring kayak.

Planked up with 1/4″ cedar strips.

Construction: Strip planked.

Lofting is required.

In the spring of 2013, I started to write a book called, How to Design a Boat using SketchUp 3D Software. The subject matter was my design, ‘Kalostyn’.
