Didi 38 radius chine plywood cruiser/racer

Being a big fan of the Irish Pucan and I’m hoping to make building in wood both simpler and more straightforward. An encouragement for builders to have a go at building their own boat.

25′ LOA carvel-planked daysailer with small cabin. Construction: Carvel planked over steamed frames. Alternative construction: Cold-molded or strip. Lofting is required. Plans include 4 sheets.

An elegant recreational kayak

Designed as a cat schooner; both sails have big round poles at their leading edges. Considering the performance potential of this hull, this rig is appropriate. The stayless rig is clean and will be cheap to build with solid fir poles.

FALCO singlehanded skiff

Janus is a 4 berth trailable sailing catamaran built in sheet plywood. However, don’t be deceived by Janus’ simple dory shaped hulls (which make it a very easy boat to build). It has a lot of internal room for its length and a surprisingly good performance.

This is a design for the 2.4mR class. The measurement formula is the same as for the bigger sisters like the famous 12mR yachts once used for the Americas Cup. As the down-scaling would leave the boat with to little righting moment there has been some adjustments to take care of this.
