The design brief for Haven was inspired by Lyman and other lapstrake runabouts popular in the late 1950s. She was designed for me by Paul Gartside.

Re-launching of a 9 ft. Ken Douglas lapstrake row boat after some minor repairs, paint and varnish.
Doug Puckering launched two boats in May of 2004: a Steve Killing-designed 17' canoe and a Joe Greeley-designed 16'10' kayak. The canoe has a beam of 33-1/3" and weighs 50 pounds. Doug plans to use it in canoe segment of the Ski-to-Sea race on the Nooksack River.
Sixteen year old Hannah Dumser is at it again. She and her dad just completed a 12′6″ Kaholo paddleboard kit from Chesapeake Light Craft.
After visiting several wooden boat shows in the northeast, Andre Vachon finally built his own boat, CAP NATURE, and launched it in June 2005. CAP NATURE is a 16-foot long Stevenson Projects One Design.
